Incised Cylinder, Ca. 600 to 900 AD. Deep thick ritual cylindrical
vessel in brown painted pigment and with a well defined ‘PSS’
primary standard sequence incised under the rim which is highlighted
in reddish pigment. 8-1/4 inches H. x 6-1/4 in Diam at rim. Ex

panels decorated with large Chief’s heads in every other
panel. Under the rim is a band of stylized birds heads. The foot
is raised and crenelated and pierced. 6"H. Very good condition

cylindrical vase with a most beautiful decoration in three registers:
seated figures and a band of hieroglyphic text running below
the rim. There is a central band which may represent a Mayan
sky band and below are cartouche spaced out depicting
