5239. Indian Sandstone Figure of a Celestial Woman

India, Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh, 11th Century AD.

Standing in graceful tribhanga with her head turned slightly to the side, wearing a short diaphanous dhoti and an elaborate necklace under which her large rounded breasts are exposed. 29 in. (73.7 cm.) high Ex. Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Freddy and Regina T. Homburger.
