10268. Jalisco Pottery Kneeling Female
West Mexico, Ameca style, Ca. 200 BC to 300 AD. Hollow pottery figure wearing a knee-length skirt and with bare breasts, short arms extend to the sides and she has node bumps on her shoulders. Her pleasing face is somewhat elongated with a pointed hook nose, fillet head wrap and ear spools. Body painted red, skirt and face in tan-brown.
