Hunchback, San Sebastian Area, Ca. 100 BC to 300 AD. An orangeware
sculpture of excellent form. He may be smoking as these are often
depicted with his hand to his mouth and his cheeks drawn in.
He is seated on a bench but leaning forward as the spine is visible
in the exaggerated curved back. He is of important stature with
fine facial features, ear clips and headdress. Good size and
very fine facial features. 17-1/2 inches H. Fine intact example

Type E Female, Protoclassic, Ca. 100 BC to 300 AD. Depicted
kneeling with arms on stomach, one under her breast and her refined
face has plaited hair and nose ring. Most notable is the red
painted markings; a hand on inscribed on her breast and other
symbols on her face and arm. 10-3/4 "H. Type E effigies
are considered very sophisticated and desirable to collectors.

Figural Urn of the Goddess "13 Serpent", Monte Alban,
Oaxaca, Mexico, Epochs II and IIIa, Ca. 100 to 200 AD. Lovely
grayware figural depiction with arms crossed on chest. Nicely
detailed face with incised features and large ear spools, spherical
ball necklace highlighted in cinnabar, the goddess crown headdress
braided and studded with ritual balls and large glyph-like badge
